Members of the Akiyama clan do not close finger signs because they specialize in taijutsus. The manipulation and control of the chakra also plays a major role in combat. The chakra has a special coloring in members of the clan. Clan members are also tougher, stronger, and have keener senses than normal ninja.

Chakra technique
1. They envelop their hand(s) (comparable to Hinata with her twin flames) and shoot or smack them at their opponents.

Kekke Genkai
Members of the Akiyama Clan can awaken the Hyogan, much like Uchiha can awaken the Sharingan. The Hyogan acquires an Akiyama through self-knowledge or when learning to better understand others. Because Akiyama are shy of contact, only very few members have this doujutzu. Particularly kind members can evolve their Hyogan into a Hyoshogan. When the Hyogan is used, the possessor can generate chakra crystals. The Hyoshogan gives him self-healing powers.


The Wolf partner
Their wolf partners are used less for fighting and more for hunting. If they do fight, Akiyama wolves can take their partners anywhere pretty quickly and augment their bodily abilities with chakra. However, they do not master techniques like the Inuzuka.


Summoned Creatures
Akiyama basically use light blue glowing butterflies as familiar spirits. These can vary in shape and type. These butterflies can use the Akiyama's chakra to paralyze their opponents by altering their chakra flow. They are also used as spionage tools.
